General Motors Co. said Wednesday it will invest $133 million to add a new stamping press at its Wentzville Assembly and Stamping Plant in Missouri.

The move is expected to create or retain 55 jobs, GM said.

GM has announced in total it will spend $513 million related to producing its all-new midsize Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon, which will be built at Wentzville. In November 2011, GM announced a $380 million investment at Wentzville for midsize trucks.
