Massive presses arrived Friday at the General Motors Assembly Plant, bringing the facility's new $200 million stamping plant closer to completion.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that the presses arrived on 19-axle haulers to the sounds of cheering plant workers who waved Texas flags. The plant is expected to be completed later this year and it will employ 180 people. The facility will produce sheet metal components for the next generation of full-size General Motors SUVs.
