Ford: 2.2 Million Cars Sold In 2012

In a preview of Thursday's release of 2012 car sales figures, Ford Motor Co . said Monday it expects to have sold 2.2 million in 2012.

The Dearborn company says it is the second year in a row it will have sold more than 2 million cars. Its most popular cars, Ford said, included the Focus and Fiesta — plus its F-series trucks.

Ford sales through November were up 5 percent from the first 11 months of 2011.
