Chrysler Group LLC is "looking very, very closely" at adding a third shift at its Warren Truck Assembly Plant, according to Ram Truck President Fred Diaz.
"We're looking at all of our options," Diaz told reporters during a conference call Thursday morning.
The factory, which currently employs 2,488 people on two shifts, produces the Ram 1500 pickup.
A new version is being launched right now, and Diaz said Chrysler has high hopes for the new truck.
