Here's what Detroit automakers are planning at the Paris Auto Show, which begins this week:

Ford

The Paris show will be the public debut of some new and redesigned vehicles that Ford introduced this month to dealers and the media in Amsterdam.

Ford's redesigned Fiesta — which will come to the North American market next year — will be on display, as will Ford's new Mondeo, known in North America as the Fusion.

Unique to Europe are six different powertrain options on the Fiesta, and a Mondeo wagon.

Ford will debut its all-new EcoSport SUV,which is about the same length as its Fiesta small car. It will fill out Ford's European SUV lineup, which includes the Edge and all-new Kuga, known as the Escape in North America.
