AAPC Statement on Ways and Means Chairman Camp’s Retirement Announcement 

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – American Automotive Policy Council President Matt Blunt today issued the following statement on the news that Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) will not seek reelection:

“The American auto industry greatly appreciates Chairman Camp’s twenty years of distinguished public service. In his role as the Congressman from Midland and the Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, his leadership has helped advance key policy issues that support growth, jobs and competitiveness in the U.S. auto industry.

“AAPC looks forward to continuing our work with Chairman Camp through the remainder of his term, and wishes him the best in his future endeavors.”
