AAPC Statement on Signing of Initial U.S. and China Trade Agreement

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Governor Matt Blunt, president of the American Automotive Policy Council, issued the following statement:

“AAPC commends the Trump administration's efforts to secure a phase-one trade agreement with China.  It is pivotal that US trade negotiators and their Chinese counterparts use this momentum to complete a robust trade agreement.  We look forward to learning more about the auto provisions and we are encouraged by the commitment to address additional issues in the next stage of the negotiations."          

The American Automotive Policy Council (AAPC) is a Washington, D.C. association that represents the common public policy interests of its member companies FCA US LLC, Ford Motor Company and General Motors Company.
