AAPC Statement on U.S.- E.U. Trade Announcement
Washington, D.C.- Governor Matt Blunt, president of the American Automotive Policy Council, issued the following statement on President Trump’s announcement on improvements in US-EU trade relations:
“The announcement coming out of yesterday’s meetings between the U.S. and E.U. on ways to improve transatlantic trade relations is welcome news. We urge the Trump administration to build off this positive announcement and work on an agreement that provides the U.S. auto sector with new opportunities to grow U.S. jobs and exports, and avoid the unintended consequences of adding new tariffs."
The American Automotive Policy Council (AAPC) is a Washington, D.C. association that represents the common public policy interests of its member companies FCA US, Ford Motor Company and General Motors Company.
