Ninety-eight percent of General Motors customers with 4G LTE-equipped vehicles are activating the service’s three month/3 gigabyte trial period, said GM global connected consumer president Mary Chan.

Speaking with CNET, Chan described the acceptance rate of the trial service as “scary high”; however, in order to be considered a success, the company will need a high conversion rate of trial service users to paying subscribers.
