Ford Motor Co. says its F-650 and F-750 medium-duty trucks, when equipped with the company’s Power Stroke engine, will have no limits on power ratings.

Ford’s upgraded 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 diesel will come with three power levels: 270 horsepower and 675 pound-feet of torque; 300 horsepower and 700 pound-feet; and 330 horsepower and 725 pound-feet.

“While other medium-duty truck manufacturers restrict top horsepower and torque ratings to certain applications, such as emergency services, the all-new F-650 and F-750 will arrive with no vocational restrictions,” said John Ruppert, general manager of Ford’s commercial vehicle sales and marketing, in a statement on Wednesday.
