The state of Texas doesn’t do anything on a small scale, proven by the annual Texas Auto Writers Association Truck Rodeo, which every year celebrates the best in SUVs and trucks here in the U.S.
This year, as is usually the case, FCA US LLC brands took home more awards at the Truck Rodeo than any other automaker, with 8 segment winners out of a possible 24 awards. To put that another way, Jeep, RAM and Dodge models were the recipients of a third of the awards handed out by the TAWA this year, which is especially impressive considering that a whopping 88 models across all manufacturers were considered this time around.
