AAPC Statement on Senate Finance Passage of USMCA

Washington, D.C. – Governor Matt Blunt, president of the American Automotive Policy Council, today issued the following statement after the Senate Finance Committee marked up and passed the USMCA:

“The USMCA is one step closer to passage thanks to the Senate Finance Committee’s approval of this 21st Century trade agreement.  This revitalized trade agreement will strengthen the U.S. auto sector and its manufacturing suppliers.  It will also serve as a model for future agreements with our global trading partners.  We urge the full Senate to quickly pass this bipartisan trade agreement.”

The American Automotive Policy Council (AAPC) is a Washington, D.C. association that represents the common public policy interests of its member companies FCA US LLC, Ford Motor Company and General Motors Company.
