Having launched in the United States for the 2015 model year, the new Chevy Colorado has been a very hot commodity, with demand outstripping supply. And for the 2016 model year, GM is giving the Bowtie’s midsize truck a handful of changes and updates.

To start, the 2016 Chevy Colorado (sadly) loses the Rally Yellow exterior color (pictured), a hue the loss of which we will mourn. What we won’t mourn, however, is the introduction of the 2.8L Duramax Turbo-Diesel inline-four cylinder engine. Set to arrive later on in the model year, the oil burner includes an exhaust brake, integrated trailer brake control, and the 2-speed electric transfer case.
