It’s finally solidified, and we can confirm that the  first-ever 2016 Cadillac CT6 will bow at the 2015 New York International Auto Show, just as its staff should be starting to settle into its SoHo headquarters. The 2016 CT6 will also fortify Cadillac’s new marketing strategy, which is also one of the reasons for the brand’s move to NYC. Balance sheet independence should follow by 2017.

The 2016 Cadillac CT6 has been the topic of much discussion, and even GM officials have made public what to expect. One of which is its incredibly low weight. Not only will it be lighter than its expected competitors, the Audi A8, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Lexus LS and BMW 7 Series, but it will be lighter than vehicles below its class such as the CTS. Currently, the 2015 Cadillac CTS is already the lightest and most athletic in its class.
